Job summary

Advocate Health’s Joint Replacement Center in High Point, NC is seeking a part-time RN to join a 24-hour-per-week schedule. The role covers 2 twelve-hour shifts, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., on weekdays, focusing on post-operative orthopedic care and patient education.

The RN will monitor recovery, manage drains, support early ambulation, and collaborate with surgeons, therapists, case managers, and nursing leadership to ensure safe discharge planning and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• RN license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Greater than 1 year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Using evidence-based practice and clinical decision making to contribute to a safe, positive patient experience on the Joint Replacement Center unit.
