Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is hiring a CNA or Nursing Assistant to join our orthopedic/joint nursing team on the Ortho/Joint floor. This full-time, 12-hour day shift role supports clinical staff by performing nursing care services and related non-professional duties under the supervision of the licensed nurse.

The position requires Idaho CNA certification or completion of the Trinity Health Nursing Assistant Program, plus Basic Life Support certification at hire.

Qualifications

• State of Idaho CNA certification or Trinity Health Nursing Assistant Program.
• Basic Life Support certification required at hire (AHA/ARC or Military).
• Six months Certified Nursing Assistant experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with nursing tasks and patient care under supervision of the licensed nurse.
• Support unit clerical, receptionist and patient service coordination.
• Contribute to personal needs and comfort of patients.
