Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Nampa is seeking a CNA/Nursing Assistant for the Ortho Med/Surg unit. The role involves assisting with patient care on a 36-bed unit handling medical, surgical and orthopedic cases, under licensed nurse supervision.

You will support staff, perform nursing tasks and patient services, with a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• CNA certification issued by the State of Idaho or completion of Trinity Health Nursing Assistant Program.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required at hire (AHA, ARC, or Military Training Network).
• Six months CNA experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Ability to care for all age groups (Neonate–Geriatric) as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical staff at the unit level with clerical, receptionist and patient service coordination.
• Perform nursing care services and related non-professional tasks under the direction of the licensed nurse.
