Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred Nursing Assistant certification.
• Health Unit Coordinator course is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process admissions, transfers, and discharges in the EMR per unit requirements.
• Complete clerical tasks including restocking and ordering supplies.
• Coordinate patient movement and communicate unit activities to staff.
• Assist RN with direct and indirect patient care.
• Document care activities according to policies and forms.
• Demonstrate competency in the Orthopedic Institute Inpatient unit.
