Job Opportunity: Full-Time Orthodontic Dental Assistant
Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry is seeking a Full-time Orthodontic Dental Assistant at our Garner Kids location. This position is initially to cover a maternity leave, with the possibility of transferring to another office (Clayton, Knightdale, Cary) upon the employee's return, while maintaining full-time status.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during procedures
- Coordinate treatments and present treatment plans to patients
- Schedule appointments considering patient needs
- Maintain dental instruments and supplies
- Record patient health histories
- Support patient management during procedures
- Ensure sterilization and sanitation of treatment rooms and instruments
- Prepare materials and equipment for treatments
- Complete dental charting and manage inventory
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- DAII training or equivalent
- 1-3 years of dental assisting experience (preferred)
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent certification
- CPR certification (or willing to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members
- Knowledge of Cloud9 software is a plus
- Reliable attendance and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work at different locations as needed
- Confidentiality and attentive listening skills
