Job summary

Worcester Eisenbrandt, Inc. seeks an experienced Ornamental Plasterer to perform historic restoration plastering across the Maryland, D.C., and Virginia metro area. The role emphasizes precision and traditional craftsmanship on historic and modern structures.

As a full-time position, the candidate will contribute to decorative moldings, cornices, medallions, and finish work, with a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a plasterer in historic or commercial construction projects.
• Experience working in Metropolitan Maryland, Washington D.C., and Virginia area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply wet finishes to interior and exterior walls and ceilings, creating ornamental features such as cornices.
• Skillfully mix cement, stucco, or plaster and apply using trowels, brushes, or spray equipment on various surfaces.
• Install plasterboard partitions, acoustic tiles, and composite wall linings with precision.
• Restore and repair curved, angled, and decorative moldings.
• Apply, level, and smooth multiple finish coats using specialized trowels, brushes, and hand tools.
• Create, install, restore and removal decorative plaster elements like moldings, cornices, and medallions for historic and modern buildings.
• Repair cracks, water damage, and missing details on heritage structures to maintain architectural authenticity.
• Prepare surfaces and set up scaffolds to ensure safe and efficient work.
• Utilize specialized applications tailored to diverse surfaces, maintaining high-quality craftsmanship.
• Assist team members as needed to complete projects efficiently and to exacting standards
