Job summary

Valiant Integrated Services seeks an ORMC Instructor to join our team in North Carolina. The role focuses on delivering platform instruction, developing doctrine, and advising senior Special Forces personnel.

You will coordinate briefs, supervise training exercises across CONUS, and safeguard government property. A DoD Instructor Training Course is required, with extensive IC experience and clear communication in English.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of IC experience.
• Experience at battalion level or higher.
• Ten years of Special IC experience preferred but not required.
• Able to use Windows OS, MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
• Prepare and use multi-media products for platform instruction.
• Familiar with TRADOC SAT or Army Learning Model.

Valiant is looking for an ORMC Instructor to join our team!

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Conduct platform instruction as the primary instructor and as alternate/assistant instructor of the lesson plans supporting the ASOTMC POI. Serve as an instructor and faculty advisor to senior Special Forces NCOs, warrant officers and officers attending the Managers Course.
• Research, develop and write doctrine.
• Present instruction to support Special Forces missions.
• Conduct coordination and brief both military and civilian officials.
• Prepare, coordinate, execute and supervise associated training exercises throughout CONUS in both urban and rural environments.
• Responsible for safeguarding all Government property and classified documents provided for use. At the close of each work period, shall secure Government equipment and classified materials entrusted to you, and act appropriately to preserve and prevent damage or loss to equipment and materials when necessary.
• Travel to CONUS locations in support of MTTs as required by the company and/or the customer.
• Other duties as assigned.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:

Active TS/SCI

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be a Graduate of the ASOT Managers Course.
• Completed or able to successfully complete a recognized DoD Instructor Training Course (ITC).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4+years of IC experience.
• Have applied skill sets OCONUS, management experience at the battalion level or higher.
• Ten years of Special IC experience is preferred but not required.
• Able to use Windows based operating systems, MS Word, MS Powerpoint, MS Excel.
• Prepare and use multi-media products in support of platform instruction.
• Must be familiar with the training and governing policies and procedures as they pertain to ORMC programs within the community (IC).
• Must be cognizant of the most recent regulations and doctrine governing ORMC Management.
• Must be able to read & write (at 12th grade level) and understand English, and shall speak clearly to instruct, evaluate and counsel trainees in the subtle and difficult concepts of the subject matter.
• Must have knowledge of and skill in the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) approved Systems Approach to Training (SAT) or Army Learning Model (ALM).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending, and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees.
• Must maintain a high degree of physical fitness allowing you to competently handle the physical demands of this position, which include working in extreme environmental conditions such as heat and cold, being able to move 6 miles a day in rough terrain and working non-standard hours.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English, and shall speak clearly to instruct, evaluate and counsel trainees in the subtle and difficult concepts of the subject matter.
• Must have knowledge of and skill in the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) approved Systems Approach to Training (SAT).
