Job summary

The Walt Disney Company seeks an Environmental Professional to lead sustainability initiatives on-site at Walt Disney World in Orlando. You will engage Leaders and Cast to advance environmental goals across operations, driving projects from planning to implementation and ensuring adoption of best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in sustainability or related field.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to influence and engage multiple organizational levels.
• Experience leading meetings and change adoption.
• Willingness to perform field work up to 20-30 hours weekly.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Influence and support Leaders across all levels and lines of business to build foundational understanding of Disney's environmental goals.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while supporting a range of environmental projects.
• Lead site walkthroughs with area Leaders and contribute to follow-up actions and improvements.
• Guide Cast engagement strategies to drive behavioral and process changes cost-effectively.
• Collaborate with local partners to drive consistency across Walt Disney World and hand projects to operations.
• Build strong relationships with Leaders and environmental champions to sustain progress and adoption.
• Identify opportunities to enhance energy efficiency, reduce waste, and conserve water.
