Job summary

American Girl Retail in Orlando is seeking a part-time Seasonal Server to deliver food and beverages at our Bistro Restaurant and provide an outstanding guest experience.

The role requires flexibility, knowledge of menu items, upselling, and safe food-service practices; prior high-volume dining experience and ServSafe preferred.

This position reports to the Assistant Store Manager and supports storewide events, with a schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• ServSafe certification preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in high-volume or fine dining restaurants.
• Banquet or catering experience a plus.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Ease of use with restaurant computer systems preferred.
• Physically demanding role: lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers upon arrival and explain food and beverage options; share events and store details.
• Know menu items and ingredients; suggest items for guests with allergies.
• Address customer concerns and special requests professionally and promptly.
• Deliver food and beverages, upsell, manage tables, and process checks via InfoGenesis.
• Follow safety guidelines and health sanitation laws.
• Support restaurant team during parties, events, and storewide activities.
