Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required (state requirements).
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration required; National Certification preferred (PTCB).
• 2+ years of related experience in a pharmacy setting.

• Able to work independently and meet deadlines, with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Enter and process prescriptions accurately in the pharmacy system.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Calculate and verify correct dosage per prescription.
• Communicate with customers by phone and respond promptly.
• Develop proficiency in all pharmacy systems used.
• Work in a high-volume environment and maintain data integrity.
• Assist with filing, inventory, and order processing as needed.
