Job summary

American Girl, located in Orlando, is seeking a Party Planner to create magical events for guests through excellent communication and organization. The role works one-on-one with party guests, coordinating with the party team to deliver a memorable experience in a fast-paced store environment.

The ideal candidate has experience in customer relations or events, enjoys working with children, and can handle multiple tasks while maintaining a positive attitude. ServSafe is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months’ work experience in customer relations, parties or events.
• One to two years’ experience in a high-volume, fine-casual dining or related restaurant.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Current ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute party events from planning to execution with clear communication and organization.
• Coordinate with the party team to greet guests, take orders, upsell, and manage check delivery.
• Maintain daily tasks, sanitation and safety standards in line with AG guidelines.
• Communicate with staff and management to ensure seamless event experiences for guests.
• Train and support teammates in various areas of the store when needed.
