Job summary

American Girl, a premium brand of Mattel, in Dallas, is seeking a dynamic Party Planner to deliver a premier party experience in conjunction with our Café. You will work one-on-one with party guests to create a magical event according to AG specifications.

The role requires strong communication and event-planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Experience with children and customer relations is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months’ work experience in customer relations, parties or events.
• 1–2 years’ experience in a high-volume, fine-casual dining or related restaurant, preferred.
• Experience working with children, preferred.
• Current ServeSafe certification, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers all aspects of a premier party experience according to AG specifications.
• Interacts one-on-one with party guests to create a magical event.
• Coordinate with the party team to greet and seat guests, take orders, upsell, and service throughout the event.
• Prepare desserts and to-go transactions; deliver checks; bus and reset tables.
• Restock supplies and maintain cleanliness; follow health and safety guidelines.
• Maintain ongoing communication with staff and management to ensure events meet AG standards.
