Job summary

JetBlue seeks a First Officer in Orlando to assist the Pilot in Command and operate the aircraft in full compliance with FARs, JetBlue policies, and safety controls—while creating an excellent experience for customers and crewmembers.

You’ll bring 1,500 hours total, 500 hours fixed-wing, ATP multiengine, FCC radio permit, FAA First Class Medical, US work eligibility, three pilot references, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Total flight time minimum 1,500 hours, incl. ≥500 hours in fixed-wing aircraft.
• FAA ATP certificate (airplane, multiengine) — Unrestricted.
• Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.
• High school diploma or GED; may include bachelor's degree.
• US work authorization; no visa sponsorship.
• Three pilot references attesting to flying skills.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Proficiency with web browsers, MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, iOS, EFB tools.
• Valid US driver’s license; clean driving record.
• Successful completion of 10-year background check and drug test.
• Willingness for reserve duty, weekends, evenings, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate the aircraft safely and professionally per FARs and JetBlue SOPs.
• Partner with the Captain to resolve real-time customer and operational challenges.
• Deliver friendly, consistent service while upholding JetBlue values.
• Maintain required skills, training, currency, and qualifications; pursue learning.
• Champion Safety Management System and Safety Policy; surface hazards via ASAP/SAR.
• Comply with FAA/OSHA/DOT and JetBlue requirements; maintain attendance and professionalism.
• Support light aircraft cleaning when requested and time permitting.
