Job summary

JetBlue Airways is seeking a First Officer in Orlando to support the Captain in delivering safe, on-time flights and excellent customer service. You will operate aircraft within FARs and JetBlue policies, uphold core values, and collaborate with crewmembers and partners to address operational challenges.

The role requires 1500 total flight hours with at least 500 in fixed-wing, an unrestricted FAA ATP certificate, First Class Medical, and US work eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• FAA ATP certificate (airline transport) required.
• Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• FCC Radiotelephone Operator's Permit.
• U.S. passport or permanent residence with visas to JetBlue destinations.
• Three reference letters from Pilots.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Reader.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent written/spoken English.
• Ability to work varied schedules, including irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist Captain to ensure safe flight outcomes in accordance with FARs and JetBlue policies.
• Safely operate aircraft per regulations and company procedures.
• Provide excellent customer experience upholding JetBlue values.
• Collaborate with crewmembers and partners to solve operational challenges.
• Maintain skills and qualifications per regulations and policies.
• Identify safety concerns and report them through official channels.
• Other duties as assigned.
