Job summary

Interns work 100% onsite, gain hands-on experience, and collaborate with experienced engineers and drafters who provide training and mentorship. Potential for future full-time employment is noted.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Construction Engineering.
• Familiarity with Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) systems required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and general PC literacy.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and problem-solving ability required.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and Engineering tasks supporting presale and contracted work.
• Assist with layout drawings, equipment selection, and quantity take-offs.
• Work under supervision of experienced team members to meet project specifications, accuracy, and safety expectations.
• Apply mathematical reasoning and technical proficiency to contribute to high-quality solutions that align with EFCO standards.
• Complete onboarding, safety training, and EFCO process orientation.
• Learn and implement EFCO's drafting and engineering practices.
• Communicate ideas clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
