Job summary

EFCO Corp. is seeking a Summer 2027 Engineering Internship in Memphis, TN, to support the engineering team on drafting and project execution. The role emphasizes hands-on CAD work, math, and collaboration with senior engineers and drafters on real projects across North America.

You will gain exposure to EFCO’s drafting and engineering practices, safety standards, and professional development through mentorship, with potential for future full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Construction Engineering.
• Familiarity with CAD systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Support project engineering and drafting activities for presale and contracted work.
• Assist with layout drawings, equipment selection, and quantity take-offs.
• Work under the supervision of experienced team members to meet project specifications, accuracy, and safety expectations.
• Apply strong mathematical reasoning and technical proficiency to contribute to high-quality solutions that align with EFCO standards.
• Complete onboarding, safety training, and EFCO process orientation.
• Learn and implement EFCO’s drafting and engineering practices.
