Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Orion Senior Systems Engineer to plan and execute hardware and software integration for the Denver VMC Test Bench, SSDL, and OUNL in support of Artemis III and future missions. You will lead test-lab scheduling, coordinate users, and apply systems engineering rigor across the product lifecycle.

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Orion Senior Systems Engineer. Be a part of the Artemis and Orion teams taking astronauts to the Moon and beyond. As a Senior Systems Engineer on the Orion program, you will be responsible for the planning, preparation, and execution of hardware and software integration activities for the Denver Vehicle Management Computer (VMC) Test Bench (VTB), Support Software Development Lab (SSDL), and Orion Utility Network Lab (OUNL) in support of Artemis III and future missions.
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00
