Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Orion Senior Systems Engineer to plan and execute hardware and software integration for the Denver VMC Test Bench, SSDL, and OUNL in support of Artemis III and future missions. You will lead test-lab scheduling, coordinate users, and apply systems engineering rigor across the product lifecycle.

The role requires a background in avionics and software test, willingness to work extended hours and weekends, and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in integrated avionics and software test environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects and interface with customers.
• Willing to work extended hours including 2nd shifts and weekends when testing is needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and execute hardware and software integration activities for test benches and labs.
• Lead daily test lab scheduling, status updates, and user coordination.
• Perform system integration, verification and validation, and trade studies to meet requirements.
