Job summary

ASRC Federal AFSS is seeking a Senior ORION Quality Inspector at Kennedy Space Center, FL. The role focuses on assembling electronic and electro-mechanical components and ensuring quality during development and preproduction activities.

You will work from schematics and blueprints, operate standard tools, inspect modifications, and perform rework and testing to support space systems programs. Must be a U.S. citizen and hold technical training equivalent to an Associate degree.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical/para-engineering tasks experience.
• High school diploma with specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic or electro-mechanical components per schematics and instructions.
• Construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies and components from blueprints or oral guidance.
• Use standard electronic assembly tools and materials.
• Inspect modifications, perform rework and quality testing as required.

ASRC Federal System Solutions (AFSS) is seeking a ORION Quality Inspector, Senior at Kennedy Space Center, FL.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Performs a variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks in support of specific production units, developmental or prototype requirements in product development, manufacturing engineering or preproduction operations where documentation and guidance may be limited.
• Works form schematics, blueprints and oral instructions to construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies and components.
• Uses standard electronic assembly tools and materials.
• May inspect modifications, rework, and quality testing.

Requirements:

• High school diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks and 3+ year experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
