A leading aerospace engineering firm in Houston is seeking an Orion GN&C Engineer to join their JETS II contract team at NASA Johnson Space Center. You will develop GN&C flight software and integrate new algorithms while collaborating with a diverse group of NASA employees. Qualifications

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 1 year of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Experience with Kalman filters.
  • Experience with developing GN&C flight software.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and evaluate safety-critical, human rated GN&C flight software.
  • Integrate and test new GN&C algorithms.
  • Provide recommendations for improvements in design and software development processes.
