Job summary

bastiontechnologies is seeking an Orion GN&C Engineer to support the space program in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will develop and evaluate safety-critical GN&C flight software, integrate and test new algorithms, and provide design and process improvement recommendations.

This position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 1+ years of related experience in the space industry or Department of Defense. Benefits include medical, dental, and a flexible work schedule.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required.
• 1+ years of experience in the space industry or DoD/DoW.
• Experience with safety-critical, human-rated software development.

Responsibilities

• Develop safety-critical, human-rated GN&C flight software.
• Integrate and test GN&C algorithms.
• Provide recommendations for process improvements.
