Job summary

Honda Federal Credit Union in Marysville, OH is seeking a Real Estate Loan Specialist to guide members through the full mortgage process. You will assess financial needs, coordinate with realtors, title companies, and processors to ensure compliant, timely closings while maintaining strong member relationships.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of real estate lending experience, NMLS eligibility, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Onsite work is required and regional collaboration is expected.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals by following up on pre approvals, assisting members with loan applications, and providing product recommendations and disclosures.
• Obtain LP/DU feedback, collect and review supporting documentation, and explain requirements to members.
• Initiate outbound sales calls, visit branches, participate in homebuyer seminars, and build relationships with realtors and title companies.
• Lock rates and manage the loan process to ensure timelines are met and a high level of member service is delivered.
• Participate in ongoing training and mentor team members on real estate loan processes.

Job Purpose

Assist credit union members through the full real estate loan process, from initial assessment of financial needs through loan closing. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations while maintaining strong communication with members and third party partners including realtors, title companies, and processors.

Key Accountabilities
