M.C. Dean is seeking an Organizational Transformation Analyst (Tech Analyst 2) to support the Security and Electronic Systems unit in Tysons, VA.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Apply structured problem-solving, Lean principles, and systems thinking to analyze business processes, identify root causes and recommend practical, scalable solutions.
  • Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and data-collection activities to elicit business requirements and document current and future-state processes.
  • Synthesize knowledge into clear process documentation, workflows, templates, and SOPs.
  • Collect, validate, and analyze data using process metrics and BI tools to support decision-making and measure outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, value stream maps, SOPs, workflows, and organizational artifacts.
  • Develop executive-ready reports, dashboards, and visual process models for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support organizational change initiatives with planning, training materials, and adoption activities.
  • Document changes and validate outcomes to ensure alignment with transformation objectives.
  • Advance assigned transformation efforts between interviews and sessions with high-quality work products.
  • Monitor implemented solutions and recommend refinements based on defined metrics.

We are seeking a Organizational Transformation Analyst (Tech Analyst 2) to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business Unit. As part of (SES) Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, it systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets.

Responsibilities

The Security & Electronic Systems (SES) Business Unit is transforming how we work by applying Lean principles, systems thinking, and continuous improvement methodologies across the business. Through value stream mapping, process standardization, and cross-functional collaboration, we are building scalable ways of working that improve operational performance, reduce variability, and create a consistent employee and customer experience.

As an Organizational Transformation Analyst, you will play a key role in documenting current state operations and supporting the development of future-state operating models. Working closely with subject matter experts, you will capture operational knowledge, help develop standardized processes, and create the artifacts, templates, and documentation that enable consistent execution across the organization.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and naturally curious, with the ability to translate complex discussions into clear, structured process documentation. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys facilitating collaborative working sessions, developing repeatable frameworks and templates, and analyzing business processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Apply structured problem-solving, Lean principles, and systems thinking to analyze business processes, identify root causes and recommend practical, scalable solutions.
  • Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and data-collection activities to elicit business requirements, understand operational challenges, and document current and support the development of future-state processes.
  • Synthesize operational knowledge from stakeholder interviews, workshops, and observations, translating it into clear process documentation, workflows, templates, and operational standards.
  • Collect, validate, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data using process metrics, business intelligence tools, and visualization techniques to support decision-making and measure transformation outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, value stream maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, and organizational artifacts that support operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop executive-ready reports, dashboards, presentations, and visual process models that clearly communicate findings, recommendations, implementation progress, and business impacts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support organizational change initiatives through implementation planning, training materials, communication support, and adoption activities that enable successful transformation.
  • Support the implementation of process and organizational improvements by documenting changes, validating outcomes, resolving issues, and ensuring alignment with transformation objectives.
  • Independently advance assigned transformation efforts between stakeholder interviews and working sessions by analyzing information and developing high-quality process documentation, analyses, and work products that facilitate continued collaboration and progress.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by monitoring implemented solutions, measuring results against defined success metrics, and recommending refinements where appropriate.
Qualifications
