Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Operations Project Analyst within the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit to design, engineer, and oversee electronic security services for federal, local, and commercial customers.

The role emphasizes analytical rigor, SOP development, and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver on complex projects. The position requires strong communication, writing, and organizational skills, with familiarity in SharePoint and MS Office.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience or an Associates degree with 8+ years of military experience.
  • Familiarity with systems architectures and process development practices.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint (site editing and management).

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members on analytical efforts, product development, and customer communications preparation.
  • Independently develop and depict an approach to a project task; oversee a small team to execute and complete to the customer’s satisfaction.
  • Structure and conduct research – open source and enclave specific.
  • Analyze, document, and implement changes to processes and procedures.
  • Develop process flow diagrams depicting current and proposed future state to support gap analysis.
  • Draft SOPs, user guides, policies, directives, etc., with strong writing skills.
  • Establish client relationships and summarize client priorities, scope changes, deadlines and deliverables for project leadership.
  • Design, analyze, and apply data collection and decision analytics processes.
  • Translate operational concepts into technical requirements and prepare reports for leadership.

Overview

We are seeking an Operations Project Analyst to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. As part of SES Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, IT systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with team members on a variety of analytical efforts, product development, and customer communications preparation.
  • Ability to independently develop and depict an approach to a project task. Oversee a small team to execute the approach and successfully complete the task to the customer’s satisfaction.
  • Structure and conduct research – open source and enclave specific.
  • Analyze, document, and implement changes to processes and procedures.
  • Develop process flow diagrams to depict current “as‑is” processes for the customer and leverage those to conduct operational gap analysis. Develop “to‑be” process flow diagrams to propose to the customer as an effective way forward.
  • Strong writing skills, ability to independently develop polished Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user guides, policies, directives, etc.
  • Establish client relationships, assess client issues and propose project solutions; review, coordinate, and summarize client correspondence to assist the project leadership’s understanding of client priorities, scope changes, deadlines and deliverables; use this experience to develop project leadership skills and assume those responsibilities.
  • Design, analyze, and apply a variety of data collection and decision analytics processes.
  • Develop operational concepts and requirements that can be translated into technical requirements.
  • Prepare documentation, reports and presentations defining problems, evaluation, and possible/recommended concepts or solutions.
  • Ability to think creatively and communicate thoughts both in terms of structured narrative and visual graphics.
  • Demonstrate professional etiquette and ability to interact with leadership and staff personnel in both industry and government.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite, specifically MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
Qualifications

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; Ability to obtain a top secret clearance is required.
