Responsibilities

Role Overview

The Organizational Excellence Associate supports the Organizational Excellence team with people development programs for Power Generation Services (PGS), including new hire sessions, leadership training, internship programming, and other learning initiatives. This internship provides hands‑on experience in training coordination, learning material development, program administration, communication, and data reporting. The role works closely with team members and stakeholders to support employee development, maintain accurate learning resources, and improve the delivery of training programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions, workshops, and meetings, including scheduling, room setup, materials, and equipment preparation.
  • Maintain training records in Microsoft PowerApps and support Power BI dashboard creation with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Update Organizational Excellence SharePoint pages to keep resources current and accessible.
  • Create and update training materials, participant guides, job aids, presentations, and multimedia resources.
  • Design visuals and presentations that support communication of programs, training initiatives, and team updates.
  • Manage high‑volume correspondence across email, chat, and phone with accuracy, timeliness, professionalism, and empathy.
  • Protect confidential and private employee information at all times.
  • Support development of engaging training content using classroom, e‑learning, multimedia, and adult learning techniques.
  • Assist with training evaluations and recommend improvements based on participant feedback and program data.
  • Stay informed on learning and development best practices and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field; master’s degree students preferred.
  • Interest in learning and development, talent development, organizational effectiveness, HR programs, or training coordination.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business materials, technical procedures, and program documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to support presentations and respond to stakeholder questions.
  • Basic analytical skills with ability to work with percentages, ratios, survey results, and training data.
  • Strong reasoning and problem‑solving skills with ability to collect information, identify issues, and summarize findings.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Exposure to PowerApps, Power BI, Clipchamp, training software, or project management tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teammates and independently with appropriate guidance.
  • Ability to travel locally to Orlando training locations up to 5% of the time and lift up to 20 pounds of training materials and supplies.
Learning Outcomes
  • Gain hands‑on experience supporting people development programs, including new hire sessions, leadership training, and internship initiatives.
  • Develop practical skills in training coordination, logistics planning, learning material preparation, and program administration.
  • Build experience using Microsoft 365 tools such as SharePoint, PowerApps, Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint to support learning operations.
