Job summary

University Hospitals is seeking an experienced professional to perform advanced consultation and lead training programs for managers, supervisors, and staff. You will manage complex organizational development projects, design instructional materials, and liaise across committees to align education with hospital needs.

Essentially, you will drive strategic planning, performance improvement, and education policy development with a focus on large-scale impact and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; related discipline specified.
• 5 years directly related experience required.

Responsibilities

• ANALYZE different employee groups and identify needs; design and deliver customized facilitation, management retreats, and team development sessions.
• CONSULTANT to hospital managers and departments in team development, strategic planning, system development, performance improvement, and training program development.
• TRAINING to plan, organize, conduct and evaluate training and educational programs; formulate organization-wide educational policies.
• MANAGE large scope, highly complex projects with organization-wide visibility and impact.
• DEVELOP instructional products and materials for various delivery methods, including self-paced tutorials.
• COMMUNICATION to interact with all management levels; foster cooperation and trust in educational technologies.
• LIAISON to serve on committees for employees, managers and physicians in organizational development and training needs.

Position Summary:
Perform advanced consultation, conduct advanced level training programs for managers, supervisors, and employees for all University Hospitals. Manage and coordinate complex research and development projects in area of expertise. Exercise discretion and judgement when making management recommendations. Ensure adherence to hospital and departmental policies and procedures. No patient care assignment.

Detailed responsibilities:
* ANALYZE - Analyze different employee groups and identify needs. Design and deliver customized facilitation's, management retreats, and team development sessions
* CONSULTANT - Act as a consultant, coach and/or facilitator to hospital managers and departments in team development, strategic planning, system development, performance improvement, and training program development
* TRAINING - Plan, organize, administer, conduct and evaluate training and educational programs for employees; formulate organization-wide educational and training policies and practices
* MANAGE - Manage large scope, highly complex projects with organization-wide visibility and impact
* DEVELOP - Research, design and develop instructional products supporting a variety of delivery methods and produce organization-wide training materials, self-paced tutorials and reference manuals
* COMMUNICATION - Interact with all management levels to build a professional climate of cooperation, trust, and shared expertise with regard to educational technologies and organizational development needs
* LIAISON - Serve on committees as liaison for employees, managers and physicians in organizational development and training needs
