Augustana Lutheran Church seeks a part-time collaborative organist/pianist to accompany the congregation’s worship services: one service each Sunday at 10:30am (additional services include Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, and Holy Week). Keyboard instruments in the sanctuary include a Létourneau Organ (35 stops, 42 ranks), a Schimmel grand piano, and a small spinet Sperrhake harpsichord.

The ideal candidate will bring strong organ and keyboard skills, some understanding of Lutheran liturgical music, and a true love of facilitating worship for the congregation. Equally important are the ability to collaborate graciously with clergy, the Director of Music, other staff, and parishioners; the flexibility to work with people of varying musical abilities; and a desire to help music serve as an integral part of the spiritual and communal life of the church.
