Job summary

Vanguard Renewables ORF Organics Recycling Facility Operator role involves day-to-day operating duties for depackaging food waste at the ORF facility. The operator will assist with daily workflows, monitor equipment, and maintain safety protocols in a busy industrial environment.

Reporting to the ORF Floor Manager, the position requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to operate heavy machinery, including forklifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate heavy machinery including forklift.

Responsibilities

• Depackaging of food waste and manage daily truck loads.
• Record operational parameters and monitor process trends.
• Write work orders for repairs and maintenance.
• Assist in creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures.
