Job summary

Outpost Natural Foods is seeking a kitchen worker to produce salads, sandwiches, soups, entrees and pizzas in a fast-paced, natural/organic environment. You will support internal and external customers with high-quality, safe, and tasty products while adhering to sanitation and production standards.

This role requires experience in food service production, strong math skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under time pressures in a unionized, hourly setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in food service production, including sauces and cooking meat.
• Demonstrated ability to follow sanitation and production guidelines.
• Proficiency in mathematics and measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under time pressure and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, efficient customer service.
• Perform advanced culinary tasks on a hot line and follow recipes.
• Maintain sanitation, proper storage and labeling, and safety procedures.
• Assist with daily production tasks and meet production schedules.
• Attend department meetings and perform duties from related job descriptions.
