Job summary

ALS is seeking an Organic Preparation Technician to perform extractions using EPA methods and to wash glassware for the organic prep department. The role requires maintaining a safe and clean workspace, adhering to SOPs, and supporting a fast-paced team.

Candidates should have a HS diploma, strong English communication, and the ability to learn quickly. Prior lab experience is preferred; off-shift availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Prepare samples for analysis following EPA methods per SOPs.
• Responsible for safely washing scientific glassware.
• Maintain safe working conditions; use appropriate safety equipment.
• Keep a clean, orderly work environment.
• Other duties as assigned; ability to work off shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform extractions using EPA methods and wash glassware for organic prep.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep area.
• Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE.
• Support team with duties and shift handovers.
• Assist with quality checks and sample labeling.
