Qualifications

• BS degree in chemistry and 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of organic experimental laboratory techniques, chemical safety procedures, and handling hazardous waste.
• Familiarity with standard software (Chemdraw, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoom, Learning Management Systems) and the ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare supplies and materials for organic chemistry laboratories.
• Maintain the organic chemistry prep room, including chemical inventories and waste management.
• Teach up to two organic lab sections in fall and spring, and up to one in each of the two summer sessions.
