Job summary

Webb Chemical Service Corporation is seeking an Organic Analyst to prepare and analyze water, soil, sediment, and oil samples, ensuring data accuracy and regulatory compliance. The role involves SOP-driven testing, record-keeping, and instrument maintenance in a growing laboratory environment.

You will work with Agilent GC, GC/MS, ECD, and related software, maintain lab records, and support inventory management while adhering to good laboratory practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with environmental laboratory testing preferred.
• Familiarity with Agilent GC, GC/MS, ECD, GC-FID, Chromeleon, and G1701 software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze environmental samples according to standard operating procedures
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation
• Use LIMS software to track, batch, and prepare samples
• Prepare standards, track chemicals, and perform routine instrument maintenance
• Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and work areas
• Monitor and maintain inventory of laboratory supplies
• Assist with other laboratory duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

Schedule:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Overtime and occasional weekends as needed
