Job summary

American Gypsum is seeking an Ore Haul Driver to transport gypsum rock from mine to plant using dirt roads and public highways. A valid Class A CDL and a strong commitment to safety are essential for this on-site role in Colorado.

Compensation features a seasonal rate of 43.62–49.57 per hour from April 27, 2026 through August 30, 2026, after which pay returns to 34.62–40.57 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus a quarterly bonus and profit sharing; work

• Valid CDL A license.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check.
• Intermediate driving experience to maintain CDL A license.
• Be able to perform basic truck maintenance such as windshield wiper replacement, changing tires, etc.
• Must have physical capability to lift 70 lbs and safely swing a 20 lb hammer.

Responsibilities

• Haul gypsum rock from the mine to the plant safely on dirt and public roads.
• Maintain safety and compliance with CDL requirements while performing duties.

Job description

The Ore Haul Driver's primary responsibility is to haul gypsum rock from the mine to the plant in a safe manner, traveling on dirt and public roads. Drivers must have and maintain current certification in Class "A" CDL requirements.

Compensation: A seasonal rate of $43.62–$49.57 will be in effect from April 27, 2026 through August 30, 2026. After this period, rates will return to the standard range of $34.62–$40.57.
