Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking a Delivery Helper for Pioneer Materials West in Gypsum, CO. You will load and unload materials, prepare trucks, and assist drivers to ensure on-time deliveries.

Qualifications include ability to lift 75 lbs, strong safety compliance with OSHA/DOT, and the ability to work independently or on a team. Medical, dental, vision coverage and a 401(k) plan are offered along with growth opportunities.

Position Summary

Primary functions of the Delivery Helper are to load, locate job sites, back up, prepare and restore the job site, prepare the truck for the following day, and maintain the truck and equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Compliance with company, state, and federal guidelines, especially OSHA and DOT. Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork, and loaded product to ensure accuracy. Safely unload product and deliver to assigned area. Secure mud, equipment, metal, and pallet on truck. Navigate routes to the job site.

Basic Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate information accurately. Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to lead, execute, and/or delegate as needed.
• Ability to self-manage, show initiative, be proactive, and drive results.
• Professional communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with coworkers and customers.

Physical Requirements

• Remain standing 90% of the time.
• Unload and load materials from commercial motor vehicles onto the job site.
• Move materials weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Communicate accurately with management and coworkers.
• Work outdoors while making deliveries.

Compensation & Benefits

The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $19.00 to $20.91 per hour. Starting wage may vary based on factors such as location, education, training, and experience. Hourly associates may be eligible for overtime based on business needs. Depending on the role, associates may also be eligible for performance‑based bonus programs, commissions, a car allowance or automobile and fuel program, and reimbursement for travel expenses in accordance with company travel policy.
