Job summary

KBR seeks a Specialist, Materials -Ordnance to support U.S. military logistics and ordnance programs. You will manage production and inventory control, shipping/receiving, and documentation for ordnance materials in a high-stakes environment.

The role requires a degree with 5+ years of related experience and the ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance. Strong communication, leadership and customer relations are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires an undergraduate degree and 5+ years of related experience, or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years of ordnance or ammunition roles with Navy/Marine/Army/Air Force experience.
• Secret clearance or ability to obtain/maintain clearance.
• Ability to work under pressure with interruptions and distractions.
• Excellent customer relations, communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Willing and able to be licensed for explosive handling or equipment (if applicable).

Job Summary

Roles And Responsibilities

• Checks parts and materials for damage and verifies quantity, part number, and serial number of shipped items.
• Records and prepares status reports of requested and received items. Under general supervision, and occasional direct supervision, performs assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within their field.
• Displays core job competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen
• Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 5+ years of experience, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
• 3-5 years of experience in various Ordnance or Ammunition roles performed while assigned to Navy / Marine/Army or Air Force, munitions /ordnance organizations.
• Demonstrate skills and ability to prioritize work
• Previous assignments and recent work history supporting Navy BOS / Facility Support operations or contracts in austere or remote environments is desired.
• Must have or be able to obtain/maintain a secret clearance
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment with multiple interruptions/distractions.
• Excellent customer relations, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of obtaining OPNAV/NAVSEA certifications
• Willing and able to be licensed for explosive handling or equipment (if applicable)

• Process & Service improvement techniques and methodology desired
