Job summary

UIC Government Services and the Bowhead Family of Companies seeks a Project Manager to oversee logistics, base operations, and Ammunition & Explosives (A&E) support at Naval Base Kitsap, Bangor, Washington.

You will ensure safe handling, manage schedules and budgets, report KPIs, and coordinate with NAVSEA/NAVSUP, using OIS for asset tracking, while complying with OPNAVINST 8023.24D and 5530.13D. Requires eligibility for a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, technical, or engineering field.
• Experience with Navy A&E handling qualification and certification programs (OPNAVINST 8023.24D).
• Experience in program management, risk assessment, and resource management.
• Strong written and oral communication abilities.
• Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage base-level logistics services, including facility maintenance, transportation, and supply chain management.
• Oversee safe handling of Navy/Marine Corps A&E assets and lifecycle management.
• Maintain 100% accountability for high-value A&E assets and cost-effective transportation.
• Develop program plans, milestones, and KPIs to evaluate progress and readiness.
• Supervise, train, and mentor personnel on safety procedures.
