Job summary

PacSci EMC, a Ralliant company, seeks a Design Engineer to support the design, development, production, and sustainment of ordnance components and systems for mission-critical products. You will work across the product lifecycle with manufacturing, quality, test, and program management in a collaborative, hands-on engineering environment.

The role emphasizes ownership, problem solving, and strong communication to deliver robust, producible designs in a dynamic defense-related setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering preferred; aerospace or related fields may be considered.
Typically 3+ years of relevant mechanical and/or ordnance design experience.
Experience creating and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T.
Experience using 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a cross-functional manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Sustain, develop, and improve ordnance product designs from concept to production.
Perform engineering analysis and create documentation.
Support prototype, qualification, production, and sustainment activities.
Provide day-to-day engineering support to Manufacturing and Quality.
Lead root-cause investigations and drive corrective actions.
Maintain design records, drawings, and BOMs.
Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams across engineering disciplines.
Support proposals and technical evaluations as required.
