Job summary

Surgery Partners Brand is seeking an Orderly to support medical and nursing staff in a fast-paced surgical center environment. You will assist with transporting patients, gathering equipment, and maintaining sterile and ready-to-use spaces under RN supervision.

The role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and reliability, with a Monday–Friday schedule and access to health benefits and a 401(k) plan. Prior healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS certificate required.
• Current American Heart Association certification.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients and assist with routine tasks in a fast-paced surgical center.
• Gather and move equipment and supplies as needed.
• Assist with changing lines, cleaning operating rooms and equipment.
• Work under supervision of a registered nurse as part of a healthcare team.

Job description

Orderly needed to assist medical and/or nursing staff with various routine tasks. Duties may include transporting patients, personal care, gathering or moving equipment/supplies, changing lines, cleaning operating rooms, and equipment in a fast pace surgical center environment.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care and outcomes. Ability to work well under the supervision of a registered nurse and as part of a healthcare team. Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
