Job summary

Renewal by Andersen of Oregon and Greater San Diego is seeking an Order Specialist to join our Portland operations team. You will be the critical link between our Tech Measure team, Customer Care Coordinators, and Installers, ensuring orders are placed accurately and projects stay on track.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of order specialist or relevant office experience.
• Salesforce experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; quick to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Process orders accurately for windows, patio doors, entry doors, and parts across multiple manufacturer platforms.
• Cross-check orders against sold contracts to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with vendors to order, track shipping, and resolve issues.
• Partner with Tech Measure team to keep projects moving forward accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate acknowledgment, shipping, installation dates, and update ETAs daily.
• Keep Sales, Finance, and the broader team informed about logistics and ordering issues.

As an Order Specialist, you will be the critical link between our Tech Measure team, Customer Care Coordinators, and Installers - ensuring every order is placed accurately and every project stays on track. What Will You Do?

• Order Processing: Accurately order windows, patio doors, entry doors, and service parts across multiple manufacturer platforms.
• Accuracy Checks: Cross-reference orders against sold contracts to ensure every detail matches what the homeowner signed for.
• Vendor Coordination: Order, track shipping, and problem-solve with vendors as issues arise.
• Tech Measure Collaboration: Partner with the Tech Measure team to keep projects moving forward accurately and efficiently.
• Project Tracking: Coordinate acknowledgment, shipping, and installation dates, and keep product ETAs updated daily.
• Team Communication: Keep Sales, Finance, and the broader team aligned on logistics, timelines, and any ordering issues.

What are We Looking For?

• Experience: 1–3 years of order specialist or relevant office experience preferred; Salesforce experience is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite and quick to learn new systems.
• Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build trust across the organization.
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy and strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Initiative: Resourceful and able to adapt to changing timelines with minimal direction.
• Background: Construction, general contracting, or interior design experience is a plus but not required.
• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
