Job description

Start Time: 6:00 PM, 4 days a week + Mandatory Overtime, closed on Saturdays.

Who are we looking for?

• Willing to train the right candidate; however, candidates with at least 1 year of warehouse experience with electric pallet jack and order selecting (or material handler) are preferred.
• Must be comfortable working in fridge and freezer environments (from 32°F to -10°F).
• Physical ability to lift 90+ lbs repeatedly.
• Starting Pay Rate: $22.25/hr + Full Benefits & Incentive Pay, and Night Premium for PM shifts.
• Weekly pay every Friday.

Position Overview:

Order selectors need to understand the equipment used, pick locations, pallet building, productivity standards, and safety procedures.

Experience (Required):

• At least one year of warehouse experience.
• At least one year experience with electric or rider pallet jacks, or similar equipment.
• At least one year experience with order selecting or as a material handler.
• Good judgment is essential, especially when supervision is not immediately available.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Operate double pallet jacks throughout the warehouse.
• Select cases and apply labels.
• Obtain work assignments.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced distribution environment.
• Stack cases onto pallets.
• Inspect equipment and complete inspection checklists.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area.

Performance Expectations:

• During the initial 30 days, work hours may be less than 40 per week to allow training and acclimation.
• Meet company standards for quality and safety.
• Communicate effectively with team and management.
• Meet deadlines.

Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of safety guidelines and RF systems is a plus.
• Ability to meet minimum picking rates.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 90+ lbs repeatedly.
• Follow procedures and instructions accurately.
• Problem-solving skills in standardized situations.
• Basic reading and writing skills.
