Rocklin UNFI - Warehouse Order Selector

Rocklin UNFI is seeking qualified Order Selectors for our warehouse. Ideal candidates have recent experience operating Electric Pallet Jacks and performing order pulling tasks.

Work Schedule:

1. 1:15 PM shift (4x10’s schedule)
2. Union environment with benefits, incentive pay, and three days off per week
3. Sundays are mandatory work days
4. Pay rate: $22.25/hr. plus incentive pay

Shift Details:

• Overtime as needed; sometimes mandatory
• Sundays are mandatory
• Two consecutive days off during the week and always off on Saturdays
• Work involves mainly dry foods, with some fridge/freezer work; must be comfortable in a chilled environment

Responsibilities:

• Operate double pallet jacks throughout the warehouse
• Select cases and apply pick labels
• Obtain work assignments
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced distribution environment
• Stack cases onto pallets
• Inspect equipment and complete inspection checklists
• Maintain a clean work area
• Use good judgment, especially when supervision is not immediately available

Minimum Experience:

• At least one year of warehouse experience
• Experience with rider pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, or similar equipment

Skills and Abilities:

• Frequently lift and move up to 60 pounds
• Apply common sense to carry out instructions
• Problem-solving with standard variables
• Read and understand simple instructions and memos
• Write simple correspondence
