Shimano North America Holding, Inc. is seeking an Order Selector Lead in Ladson, SC to supervise daily picking operations, ensure accuracy, and drive throughput.

This role requires coaching the picking team and coordinating with warehouse staff to meet shipping deadlines. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years narrow-aisle picking experience, strong leadership and analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and WMS; AS400 familiarity a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in narrow aisle picking.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical skills with an understanding of performance metrics.
• Perform root cause analysis to improve pick rate and throughput.
• Experience with flow racks, narrow aisle picking, and 'scan-to-pick'.
• Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to read and do basic mathematics; follow instructions in English for safety and operations.
• Maintain stable performance and poise in high-stress situations.
• Ability to think on feet; identify, troubleshoot, and create solutions to problems.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and WMS systems; familiarity with AS400 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Order Selector team and maintain picking throughput; ensure orders are ready for packing and shipping daily.
• Lead all facets of narrow aisle picking, flow rack picking, and scan-to-pick process controls.
• Pick orders from carousel, main, flow racks and other areas as needed.
• Provide training, counseling, and guidance to the team.
• Heavy use of forklift and reach lift.
• Prepare operational reports on mis-picks, productivity, throughput, and accuracy.
• Read orders for shipping information and location; follow special instructions.
• Work overtime as needed; adapt to changing business needs.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
