What You’ll Do

• Pick product from pallet locations using instructions via hands-free headsets, confirm locations verbally, wrap products with shrink-wrap, and deliver to staging area.
• Build and transport stable pallets of various food products up to seven feet high.
• Maintain product integrity and cold chain throughout the process.

What You’ll Need

• Must be 18+ years old
• Ability to bend, twist, kneel, squat, reach, pull, push, balance, and lift objects up to 85 pounds in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependability and flexibility, including willingness to work in different warehouse areas with little notice, and on varying shifts including holidays and weekends.

Job Purpose

The Order Selector uses a pallet-jack to manually select, palletize, and shrink-wrap grocery products, delivering them to a staging area without damage, guided by inventory software and hands-free headsets.

Responsibilities

• Operate a battery-powered pallet-jack efficiently.
• Build and transport stable pallets of food products up to seven feet high.
• Meet productivity standards for cases per hour in a fast-paced setting.
• Ensure product and cold chain integrity.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment.
• Follow company policies, safety, and attendance standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About You

• Must be 18+ years old
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Experience with industrial equipment and/or order selecting preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient in reading, writing, speaking English; additional languages a plus
• Basic math and computer skills required
• Team-oriented, self-motivated, problem-solving skills, flexible to work in different warehouse areas and shifts

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 85 pounds repeatedly and work in various warehouse environments, including cold storage at temperatures as low as -10°F.
