Saputo in Wisconsin seeks a warehouse associate for the overnight shift to inspect and load outbound shipments, receive goods, and ensure accurate paperwork. You will operate RF scanners and material handling equipment, maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform trailer inspections and ensure secure loading with compliance to food safety and quality standards.
• Load/unload products using RF scanners and ensure accurate paperwork.
• Receive products from POs or internal transfers with correct counts and codes.
• Ensure quality of outbound shipments and proper weight distribution in trailers.
• Put away received products, replenish locations, and pick full pallets for orders.
• Complete daily PIT inspections and follow GMP safety procedures.

Shift Schedule

Shift 10:00PM to 6:00AM

Responsibilities

• Performs trailer inspections for all inbound and outbound orders, ensuring that all trailers are properly secured before entering, temperature requirements are met, including food safety and quality regulations.
• Responsible for loading and unloading of product through use of Radio Frequency scanners; accuracy, completeness of paperwork, and closely working with shift supervisor, quality control and inventory control to address any discrepancies or issues with each load.
• Correctly receives product from incoming purchase orders or intra company stock transfers, ensuring correct case counts, code date, pallet count and condition, and recording of any damages resulting from transit.
• Responsible for the overall quality of outbound shipments, correct weight distribution within trailers, accuracy and compliance.
• Put-away of received product into storage location, replenishment of pick locations and full pallet picking for customer orders.
• Completes daily Powered Industrial Truck Inspection, ensuring safe operation and reporting any concerns to maintenance personnel or shift supervisor.
• Understands and follows Good Manufacturing Practices, Saputo's food safety, quality programs and regulatory requirements.
• Promptly reports all potential quality, food safety, and workplace safety hazards to management team.
• Attends and participates in all required training, shift meetings and committees.

Qualifications

• Are able to read and communicate effectively in English
• Can work assigned schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Have basic math knowledge
• Have a demonstrated work history
• Are able to work confidently in a fast-paced environment
• Are able to meet physical demands required for the position (stand, walk, bend, stoop and climb; able to lift up to 50 pounds;
• Able to work in cold environments and around moving equipment; good visual acuity with ability to distinguish colors
• Able to operate material handling equipment

Position Abilities and Physical Requirements

Ability to work in warehouse environment which includes but is not limited to: noise, cold temperatures, standing/walking/bending/stooping/climbing stairs, maneuvering around material handling equipment consistently throughout the shift. Physical lifting up to 50-lbs unassisted continuously throughout the shift. Wearing personal protective equipment and following all established procedures. Good visual acuity with the ability to distinguish colors. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Fine manipulation and hand dexterity, including ability to grip and squeeze; handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms Must be able to work overtime on a daily and/or weekly basis.

Pay

Pay $27.14 an hour + shift differential
