Job summary

Saputo is hiring for a warehouse associate in the United States. You will perform trailer inspections, load and unload using RF scanners, and ensure accurate paperwork and product integrity. Responsibilities include receiving from POs, proper storage, and maintaining quality across outbound shipments.

The role requires reading and speaking English, physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds, and the ability to work in a cold warehouse. Competitive pay with shift differential applies.

Qualifications

• Must read and communicate effectively in English.

• Basic math skills required for bookkeeping and packing.
• Proof of prior work history and reliability.
• Able to perform in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Comfortable in cold environments and around moving equipment.
• Experience operating material handling tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and secure inbound/outbound trailers and ensure temperature compliance.
• Load/unload product using RF scanners; verify paperwork and resolve discrepancies.
• Receive product from POs and transfers; verify counts, codes, dates and damages.
• Ensure outbound shipments meet weight, accuracy and regulatory standards.
• Put away received product, replenish pick locations and pick full pallets.
• Complete daily powered industrial truck inspections and report issues.
• Follow GMP, food safety and Saputo quality programs; report hazards.
• Attend required trainings, shift meetings and committees.

Hours 10:00PM to 6:00AM

How you will make contributions that matter:

• Performs trailer inspections for all inbound and outbound orders, ensuring that all trailers are properly secured before entering, temperature requirements are met, including food safety and quality regulations.
• Responsible for loading and unloading of product through use of Radio Frequency scanners; accuracy, completeness of paperwork, and closely working with shift supervisor, quality control and inventory control to address any discrepancies or issues with each load.
• Correctly receives product from incoming purchase orders or intra company stock transfers, ensuring correct case counts, code date, pallet count and condition, and recording of any damages resulting from transit.
• Responsible for the overall quality of outbound shipments, correct weight distribution within trailers, accuracy and compliance.
• Put‑away of received product into storage location, replenishment of pick locations and full pallet picking for customer orders.
• Completes daily Powered Industrial Truck Inspection, ensuring safe operation and reporting any concerns to maintenance personnel or shift supervisor.
• Understands and follows Good Manufacturing Practices, Saputo's food safety, quality programs and regulatory requirements.
• Promptly reports all potential quality, food safety, and workplace safety hazards to management team.
• Attends and participates in all required training, shift meetings and committees.

Position Abilities and Physical Requirements

Ability to work in warehouse environment which includes but is not limited to noise, cold temperatures, standing/walking/bending/stooping/climbing stairs, maneuvering around material handling equipment consistently throughout the shift.

Physical lifting up to 75-lbs unassisted frequently throughout the shift.

Wearing personal protective equipment and following all established procedures.

Good visual acuity with the ability to distinguish colors. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Fine manipulation and hand dexterity, including ability to grip and squeeze; handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms

Must be able to work overtime on a daily and/or weekly basis.

Pay $27.14 (Plus $2.00 Shift Differential starting at 6:00PM to 6:00AM)
