Dollar Tree Distribution INC in San Bernardino, CA is seeking a dependable team member for the 2nd shift to support our fast-paced distribution center. You will load/unload merchandise, verify orders, and prepare shipments for dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload merchandise.
• Check, verify and audit merchandise for order accuracy and damage.
• Identify, separate, label and palletize merchandise for relocation.
• Replenish pick areas per replenishment screens and requests.
• Fill orders by moving merchandise from active location to conveyors or pallets.
• Unload merchandise onto trailers from the distribution floor.
• Ensure shipments are accurate and undamaged when loaded onto trailers.
• Perform general housekeeping duties.
• Duties may vary by department and DC needs.
• Department assignments may change with DC needs.

2nd Shift Mon - Thu 4:00 p.m. - 2:30 a.m. Pay Rate: $22.50 plus $0.75 shift differential

General Summary

We are looking for a team player with proven retail distribution success to work in a fast-paced distribution center.

Essential Job Functions

• Load and unload merchandise
• Check, verify and audit merchandise to ensure that ordered merchandise is as ordered and not damaged
• Identify, separate, label and palletize merchandise to be relocated to appropriate area of distribution center
• Replenish pick areas identified by replenishment screens or report various requests for needed merchandise
• Fills merchandise orders by selecting and moving merchandise from active location to conveyor, and/or slot to pallet or box to fill orders
• Unload merchandise onto trailers by moving merchandise from trailer to floor.
• Check merchandise to ensure that shipment is accurate and merchandise is not damaged and is loaded onto proper trailer
• Perform general housekeeping duties
• Perform varied duties (as listed above) depending on department assignment
• Department assignment will change depending on Distribution Center needs

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift up to 70lbs
• Ability to adapt to job duty and department changes as required
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
