Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a team-oriented individual for a 3rd shift in our San Bernardino distribution center, Friday through Monday from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM. You will load/unload merchandise, verify orders, label and palletize, and support replenishment and order filling in a fast-paced retail distribution setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 70 lbs, and adaptability to department needs. Previous warehouse experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Team player with proven retail distribution success.
• Experience in a fast-paced distribution center is preferred.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise and adapt to changing duties.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload merchandise
• Check, verify and audit merchandise to ensure accuracy and condition
• Identify, separate, label and palletize merchandise to relocate within the distribution center
• Replenish pick areas and respond to merchandise requests
• Fill merchandise orders by moving items from active location to conveyor or pallet
• Unload merchandise onto trailers from the floor
• Check merchandise to ensure correct shipment and loading onto trailers
• Perform general housekeeping duties
• Department assignment will change based on distribution center needs

Job Description 3rd Shift Friday - Monday 5:00AM - 3:30PM Pay Rate: $22.50 plus $1.50 shift differential

General Summary We are looking for a team player with proven retail distribution success to work in a fast-paced distribution center.

Essential Job Functions:

• Load and unload merchandise


• Check, verify and audit merchandise to ensure that ordered merchandise is as ordered and not damaged


• Identify, separate, label and palletize merchandise to be relocated to appropriate area of distribution center


• Replenish pick areas identified by replenishment screens or report various requests for needed merchandise


• Fills merchandise orders by selecting and moving merchandise from active location to conveyor, and/or slot to pallet or box to fill orders


• Unload merchandise onto trailers by moving merchandise from trailer to floor.


• Check merchandise to ensure that shipment is accurate and merchandise is not damaged and is loaded onto proper trailer


• Perform general housekeeping duties


• Perform varied duties (as listed above) depending on department assignment


• Department assignment will change depending on Distribution Center needs

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required


• Ability to lift up to 70lbs


• Ability to adapt to job duty and department changes as required


• Previous warehouse experience preferred

Pay Range: $22.50-26.00/hour
