Job summary

Shamrock Foods Company in Verona, VA is hiring a Warehouse Fulfillment associate to pull orders, distribute products, and support timely deliveries. This role requires operating reach and sit-down forklifts and adhering to safety and quality guidelines.

You will read schedules, confirm items, enter pickup data, and maintain accurate counts while working in temperature-controlled zones. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required; night differential applies where applicable, with

Qualifications

• Forklift certifications (reach and sit-down) required.
• High school education preferred.
• Basic math skills for unit conversions.
• Ability to work in temperatures from −5°F to ambient.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Pull and distribute orders per company standards.
• Read production schedules and orders to determine items to move.
• Enter order information into the management system to start picking.
• Count items to ensure distribution accuracy.
• Sort and place materials at the proper door to avoid shortages.
• Label products on each case.
• Maintain regular attendance; perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

$20/hour base pay (based on experience), plus $2.00/hour shift differential for night shifts.

Location: Verona, VA

Essential Duties:

• Pulling orders and distributing products within guidelines of company standards
• Reading production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distribute
• Entering information into computer system to notify management system the start of order selecting process.
• Counting items for distribution within warehouse to ensure conformance to company standards
• Sorting and placing materials or items at proper door to ensure zero short on delivery tolerance
• Marking products with identifying labels, to be placed on each case
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performing other duties as assigned to meet business needs

Qualifications:

• Reach and Sit Down Forklift Certifications
• High school education preferred
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
• Must be able to work in various temperature controlled zones ranging from -5 F to ambient temperature
• Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department; which are subject to evenings, weekends, holidays

• Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds
