About the Company

Lucifer Lighting Company is a privately held San Antonio-based designer and manufacturer of precision‑engineered architectural lighting fixtures. Our products are installed in major architectural sites, including tech company campuses and tall towers across the United States.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Read and follow written and verbal work instructions and standard operating procedures with emphasis on safety and quality.
  • Demonstrate overall safe work behavior and adhere to safety guidelines.
  • Identify and correct potentially unsafe situations or conditions; notify Lead about unsafe or emergency situations and recommend corrective measures or equipment.
  • Follow accepted housekeeping assignments and ensure work area meets acceptable housekeeping and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with peers to accomplish projects or tasks and participate in group cost and throughput improvement events, discussions, and meetings.
  • Keep supervisors and peers informed about accomplishments, quality/safety issues, problems, and/or changes.
  • Pull parts from warehouse locations.
  • Create kits for production from the parts pulled.
  • Take kits to the production floor.
  • Refill Kanban as required.
  • Assist in training of peers as required.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States on an unrestricted basis (U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident). No sponsorship will be provided.
  • Ability to read, speak, and write English at a level that allows understanding and communicating standard work instructions, job safety requirements, and quality documentation.
  • Knowledge of computers and/or quick grasp of computer proficiency.
  • Ability to count parts and record data accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to take on new responsibilities and develop new skills.
  • Ability to work within tight timeframes and deadlines, prioritizing duties based on immediate needs.
  • Ability to excel in a fast‑paced work environment.
Physical Requirements (Ability to do the following up to 10 hours per shift)
  • Complete assessment testing administered by Production Group Lead.
  • Walk, stand, sit, bend, twist/turn, kneel, squat, crawl.
  • Climb using both legs and arms.
  • Head/neck movement.
  • Reach outward or above the shoulder.
  • Drive or operate equipment such as forklifts and/or battery‑powered vehicles.
  • Lift, carry, push, or pull 15-45 pounds.
  • Repetitive use of hands and fingers.
  • Depth perception required.
  • Ability to distinguish basic colors and shades of color.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with handheld scanners.
  • One or more years in a warehouse environment in shipping, receiving, or other major warehouse functions.
Working Environment
