Job summary

Cash-Wa Distributing of Fargo is seeking a Night Order Selector to accurately pick food and other products in a fast-paced, multi-temperature warehouse. After training, you will use electric pallet jacks and forklifts, follow voice-picking, and ensure items are stacked and labeled correctly with safety above all.

Qualifications include reading/writing English, basic math, and reliability for night shifts. Lifting up to 80 lbs (100 lbs occasionally), and opportunity for overtime with earning

• Willingness to work nights.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick food and products using electric pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Show knowledge of packaging and pallet building for dry, chill, and frozen items.
• Apply labels and ensure correct order, stacking, and wrapping.
• Operate voice-picking system and follow safety protocols.
• Follow HAZMAT, OSHA and food safety requirements.

If this sounds good to you, check out Cash-Wa Distributing!After training, selectors will be able to perform the following responsibilities:Accurately, safely, and efficiently pick food and other products from shelves and other storage areas using electric pallet jacks and forklifts.Show general knowledge of packaging and product - including ability to identify and build pallets with dry, chill, and frozen items.Apply labels accurately with right placement and right product to ensure outbound product is properly stacked, in the right order, and securely wrapped.Operate voice selection system in accordance with specific job functions.Practice safe body mechanics and Accident Prevention Program (APP) protocols.Follow federal and state regulations for HAZMAT, OSHA and food safety requirements.Operate all equipment safely and efficiently.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not necessary.Related distribution center experience helpful, but not required.Must be able to perform basic math calculations.Ability to read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety regulations is required.Frequent lifting, 10-80 lbs., occasionally up to 100 lbs.Ability to support a team environment by meeting attendance expectations with consistency and punctuality is required.Ability to meet productivity standards in a fast-paced environment is required.Must be willing to work nights.Must be willing to work in a multi-temp environment, including freezer to -10 F.airhMust be able to pass drug test.Equal Employment Opportunity Employer M/F/Vets/Disabled
